What we collect
When you place an order we collect:
- your name, phone number and email address
- your delivery address and city, and any delivery notes
- the items you ordered and the amount due
We don’t take card or bank details online. Orders are paid in cash on delivery.
How we use it
- to confirm, deliver and support your order, including sharing your name, phone and address with our courier
- to send your order confirmation and reply to your questions
- to handle returns, exchanges and refunds
- to prevent fraud and abuse of the store
We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.
Services we use
We rely on a small number of providers who process data on our behalf:
- Vercel hosts the website.
- MongoDB Atlas stores order and product information.
- Resend sends order emails.
- Cloudinary stores and serves product photos.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that checkout is used by people, not bots.
- Upstash counts requests to protect the store from abuse; it stores IP addresses briefly.
Cookies and storage
Your shopping bag is saved in your own browser so it’s still there when you come back. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set cookies needed for its security check.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for deliveries, returns, accounting and legal obligations, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. To make a request, message us on WhatsApp or email scentsandstyles01@gmail.com.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update this page and the date below. Scents & Styles is responsible for the information collected on this website.
